You want a barrel horse, here she is. You want a halter horse, here she is. You want something to throw the kids up on, here she is. You want something to smell the roses on as you go down the trails, here she is! Gem has got the bloodlines, heart and brains to do it all! She's got a LOT of trail miles on her and lots of years ahead of her! Our intensions when we bought her was to start her on the barrels, life has just got us to busy and we haven't been able to. With bloodlines like Top Decker and Curley Pine ON her papers shes going to waste as just a trail horse. She's built like a cute little halter mare and with bloodlines like Skip A Star you can see how she could be a winner in the halter ring also. Gem will greet you at the gate. She's got great ground manners. She ground ties to be saddled, bridled, haltered etc. She stands to be mounted, dismounted etc. She rides double, bare back, halter and lead rope or with bridle ... she's not picky. Our 10 year old and 6 year old have been riding her. She's great out on the trail, deer, water, logs etc etc. it doesn't bother her! She ties, loads, clips, loves to be groomed on.
